Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 19, 2026. This page also serves as the Chrome Web Store user data and Limited Use disclosure.
Data we handle
Ekavo for Etsy handles data only for Etsy seller operations, including orders, buyer-message context, listings, ads, sales statistics, traffic sources, search terms, export history, activation status, account email, and subscription status.
The extension stores necessary data in local Chrome storage to restore the workbench state, enforce quotas, create exports, and show recent results. When you use AI replies or reports, the necessary prompt data is sent to Ekavo servers.
How we use data
We use this data only for user-facing features that you choose to use: order export, sales and ads analysis, AI reply suggestions, activation sync, plan limits, and customer support.
We do not sell user data and do not use Etsy shop, order, message, or browsing activity for personalized ads, retargeting, credit decisions, or purposes unrelated to Ekavo for Etsy.
AI and service providers
When you request an AI reply or report, Ekavo servers forward the necessary prompt data to the configured AI provider to generate the result. The current production path uses a Moonshot/Kimi-compatible model service.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Ekavo does not receive or store full card numbers. Email sign-in, notifications, and required service messages may be sent through an email provider.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use disclosure
Ekavo for Etsy uses personal and sensitive user data only to provide or improve the extension's single user-facing purpose.
We transfer data only when needed to provide the service, comply with law, investigate security issues, support a user-approved request, or complete a permitted business transaction. We do not use the data for personalized advertising, and humans do not read user data except with user consent for support, for legal or security reasons, or as aggregated and anonymized internal operations data.
Security, retention, and deletion
Communication between the extension and Ekavo servers uses HTTPS. Servers retain activation, subscription, device, and necessary usage records to maintain accounts, quotas, billing, and security audit trails.
You can clear local extension data inside the extension and may contact Ekavo support to request access, correction, export, or deletion of account-related data. Some records may be retained where required for billing, security, legal, or operational reasons.
